Franklin County Gravel Grinding Trinity This is the trinity of Franklin County gravel cycling. Routes are 20% 80% gravel/paved mixed routes that showcase the varied terrain from rolling hills to sustained climbing and broad river crossings to lakeside fire roads and occasional technical double track. These 3 rides are not for the inexperienced. Document your completion of the full trinity with Strava and e-mail us a screenshot or swing by the office and get a custom printed t-shirt commemorating the experience.

Special Note

All 3 routes are very remote. Cell phone reception is not to be expected. Riding alone is not recommended. Unleashed dogs are common in the country. Pigg River Ford should not be attempted at a high water level. This crossing at Jacks Mountain Road and Pigg River Road can be fast-flowing and deep.
