What is your favorite thing about coaching soccer?

Seeing the player’s growth in the understanding of the game and the improvement in their individual skills.

How long have you been coaching soccer with Franklin County Parks & Recreation?

I coached rec soccer in 2007- 2008, then academy and travel from 2009-2015. I returned to rec this past spring.

Do you have any fun/inspirational stories you can share about coaching with FCPR?

Overall I would say seeing players have so much passion and drive to improve and become better players, while learning to work together as a team.

How did you become interested in coaching?

I have enjoyed playing soccer for most of my life and I wanted to share my love of the sport.

When you are not coaching, what are you doing?

Playing soccer and basketball, spending time with my family and going on vacations.

What advice would you give to someone who may be interested in coaching youth sports?

I would recommend volunteering to be an assistant coach, you do not have any responsible of being the head coach, but you learn so

much more than you can learn from the internet.
