Transportation
Senior citizens that do not have access to transportation can sign up to be added to the route.Transportation services are based on income of the entire household and federal guidelines for fee rates. We do not bill insurance companies. Any fees accrued are the responsibility of the individual served.
Availability
We provide transportation on a first come, first serve basis and require at least three business days notice for requests. We travel to appointments locally and out of town to Roanoke, Martinsville, Westlake, and Salem. There are time parameters for appointment times for our program to run efficiently.
Cancellation of Transportation
We follow the Franklin County Public School decisions on days when schools are closed to due inclement weather on the roads for the safety of our drivers as well as our passengers. If Franklin County schools are closed due to weather on the roads, all transportation for that day will be cancelled as well.
Qualification
To see if you qualify, please call us at 540-483-9238 for a qualification assessment. Individuals that receive Medicaid should contact their Medicaid representative for further transportation information.
